Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS


Giuseppe Longobardi
Giuseppe Longobardi is a senior member of the TWS of z/OS L3 Customer Support Team since 2009. He joined IBM in 1990 working in L3 Support, Development and Design teams, for different z/OS products: NPM (participating to the mission transfer from Raleigh Lab to Rome, becoming the Technical lead), NVAS, SLR and TDS for z/OS (being the Technical lead and Chief Designer). Interacion designer and Software Quality assurer for TDS and TWS for z/OS. Joined in 2007 the TWS for z/OS Development team (participating to design changes and development activities). Now part of the L3 Customer Support team. Senior member of the Rome Lab Patent board (on board since 1999) and IBM Master Inventor, appointed for the 2nd consecutive time in October 2010.

Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS


Pietro Iannucci
Pietro Iannucci is the chief architect of the Tivoli Workload Automation family. Pietro’s responsibility is to keep an eye on the new technology trends, customer needs and competitors evolution in order to drive the architectural, technological and functional evolution of the Tivoli Workload Automation products. He joined the Workload automation area in 2000 covering several roles, from developer, to chief designer and then architect for the TWS z/OS and distributed products. Before joining the Workload Automation family area, he covered the roles of tester, developer and L3 engineer in the development organization in the Rome Lab, working on several Systems Management products primarily in the z/OS and Unix areas.

Marco Cardelli
Marco Cardelli has been the TWS for z/OS Chief Designer since 2006. Joined IBM in 1990 worked in design and development mainly for OSI/CS until 1995 and then participated to the transfer of OPC/ESA from the Lidingo lab to the Rome lab. Since then he worked on OPC/ESA (later become TWS for z/OS), initially as L3 member team. He worked in TWS distributed development team for TWS 8.2 release, then he went back to TWS for zOS L3 as Technical Leader. He joined in 2005 the TWS for z/OS development group assuming the Chief Designer role.

Lorin Ullman
Lorin Ullmann, the lead development architect for Tivoli's Integrated Service Management for System z and an IBM Master Inventor, focuses primary on System z technical strategies, solution architectures, and software designs across the Tivoli portfolio that help clients address today’s IT challenges. During his 23-year IBM career, Lorin's architectural contribution has spanned a broad range of technologies, including systems management; Java, OS/2, thin client and pervasive device operating systems; printer device drivers, graphic and video engines; power management firmware; PS/2 personal computer video circuit board hardware; and IO optical storage peripherals.

Mark Shewell
Mark Shewell is a Software Engineer for Tivoli within IBM's Software Group. He is a lead designer and developer for Tivoli Decision Support for z/OS and is a part of the Australia Development Laboratory (ADL).

Frank Myers
Frank Myers graduated from Ohio University, and has over 30 years of experience in software development and support. He is currently working in z/OS OMEGAMON product development.

Tivoli NetView for z/OS


Larry Green
Larry Green is the Architect for NetView for z/OS in the Tivoli division of IBM's Software Group, with high-level technical responsibility for NetView's general direction and its overall relationship and interworking with other products. He has over 20 years experience with NetView, network and systems management, automation, and related areas.

zEnterprise Lead Architect


Paul Smith
Paul Smith ("Smitty") is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM responsible for architecture and design of Integrated Service Management solutions for System z and zEnterprise. He is a member of several IBM architecture teams and customer councils and he works closely with customers and technical sales teams to provide service management solutions to IBM clients.

Tivoli Asset Discovery for z/OS


Jim Kyriakakis
Jim has been involved with Tivoli Asset Discovery for z/OS and it predecessor product for the past 14 years. He was responsible for the original Database design and the Global Knowledge Base. His primary role is to look after the Global Knowledge Base and provide L3 support. He is also involved as a Lab Advocate for a number of clients.

Tivoli z/Secure


Jeroen Tiggelman
Jeroen Tiggelman is the Development and L3 Manager for the IBM Security zSecure product suite and is one of the leading experts on that product line. He joined independent software vendor Consul Risk Management in 1995 as a mainframe assembler developer to work on predecessor product Consul/RACF+Audit. Jeroen holds Master's degrees in discrete mathematics and in theoretical computer science from Leiden University.

Juergen Holtz is a Senior Software Engineer for Tivoli within IBM's Software Group and as an Architect he is responsible for Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS). He has more than 20 years experience in system software development for System z, in particular in the areas of automated operations, high availability, performance and workload management. Juergen is a member of several IBM architecture teams and also Lab Advocate for a number of clients.

Hans-Ulrich Geißler is the test team lead for Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS) since over 10 years now. In his previous role Hans was working as SA z/OS developer and as service team member over several years. Hans is also the SME for the SA z/OS customer classes ("Introduction and Operations" and "Implementation and Administration").

Alois is a Software Engineer for Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS). His primary role is Level3 teamlead for SA z/OS. He has been involved in SA z/OS and its predecessor AOC for more than 15 years in a variety of roles in both, Australia and Germany. He also is a Lab Advocate for some SA z/OS clients.
