Furthermore, this approach significantly reduces the risk of integrations breaking, because it is not version or vendor API specific.

IBM Prerequisite Scanner
Checking for product prerequisites is a fundamental activity required by all Tivoli and SWG solution deployments to ensure installation failures are minimized or avoided. Identifying and manually checking hardware and software prerequisites on every target system, however, can be very time consuming and error prone. IBM Prerequisite Scanner directly addresses this aspect of deployment by automating the checking of missing or incorrect prerequisites across multi-product solutions, and identifies issues that need to be resolved prior to attempting an installation. Early detection of incomplete prerequisites gives the client the opportunity to efficiently remediate using normal maintenance schedules and avoids costly, disruptive delays and unplanned maintenance escalations.
