Marvin Goodman has been with IBM for 12 years, and has 17 years experience in IT, serving roles in quality assurance, software development, acquisition evaluation, market analysis and competitive analysis, before moving into his current product management role. The majority of that time has been spent working with application and infrastructure performance and availability applications, watching the birth of Cloud computing, and gradually progressing along the Cloud maturity ladder.
Meet the Experts
Ben Stern has spent over 20 years working in the IT industry in a variety of managment and techinical roles within the software development organization. Prior to his current role, he was the lead for the Tivoli Service Availability and Performance Management Best Practices team. In that role, he helped define best practices for the Tivoli portfolio while working with hundreds of customers around the world. In his current role, he is focusing on Tivoli's virtualization and cloud solutions.
Cesar Araujo is a Senior Technical Staff Member in the Tivoli Services Availability and Performance Management (SAPM) area of IBM Software Group. He has over years experience in software development. Since 1999 he has been working for IBM as a product lead and architect for Tivoli products in the systems and network management areas. Currently Cesar is responsible for architecture and technical guidance for products in the virtualization and cloud management area.
Pratik Gupta has over 22 years experience in the IT industry. He is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Virtualization Management Architect in the office of the CTO, Tivoli Software IBM Corporation. He is responsible for architecture and technical strategy for virtualization management. He is also a member of the IBM Academy of Technology, IBM Cloud Computing Architecture Board and IBM Cloud Academy Technical Board. Prior to assuming his current position, he was responsible for product strategy and architecture and design in areas of service management, provisioning, automation, security and networking.
