Many of the risk assessment methods in use today are too abstract and complex to be put into practice on a regular basis. The IBM X-Force 2012 Trend and Risk Report describes a simplified risk assessment method that's both effective and actionable. In this video interview, Randy Stone discusses the method in detail.
