Objectives - Upon completing the course the student will be able to describe:
- The MDA Standards, Specifications, and Supporters
- The role of the OMG and its member companies in creating MDA
- The types of models (CIMs, PIMs, PSMs)
- How information is represented within models (UML, MOF, OCL, and Action Semantics)
- The model transformation process (Transformation Definitions, Transformation Rules, Transformation Definition languages, Bridges, and Profiles)
- How code and models remain synchronized and the means by which code can be customized
Prerequisites
Prior to taking this course, it is recommended that you have completed one of the following courses, or have equivalent experience:

- Instructor-led training - DEV275: Essentials of Visual Modeling with UML 2.0
