Scott Hebner, Vice President Marketing and Strategy, IBM

15 Apr 2007

Now in its tenth season, the IBM Rational Software Development Conference will be held June 10-14, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida. More than 2,500 software developers and practitioners will be attending.

On June 10-14, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the IBM Rational Software Development Conference at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida. More than 2,500 customers will be attending and answering this burning question... "What Keeps Me Rational?"

The Rational Software Development Conference 2007 will again illustrate first-hand to the software and systems development community why our customers keep coming back year after year to this exciting event!

Here's what several long-time conference attendees said recently about this annual event:

"RSDC is like a live forum for learning about IBM Rational tools. You get a lot of down-to-earth information about the products you are interested in, either from the vendors themselves or from the other conference attendees."
"It's a great opportunity to understand where the process and lifecycle tools industry is heading."
"The Conference is very helpful for a multitude of reasons... the wonderful end-user presentations where I can learn and ask about real life experiences from people who have "done it"... the networking opportunities with industry contacts and new friends... plus, access to the engineers and product managers where I can suggest ideas, get some help on our most troublesome problems, and get a glimpse of where the products are going."
"After the conference I am so charged up, filled with ideas, and energy. The non-technical motivational speaker is always great!"

Some conference highlights include:

  • 13 technical tracks
  • NEW Executive Track: Governance & Lifecycle Management Executive Summit
  • More than 285 technical sessions
  • Hands-on workshops
  • Free IBM certification testing
  • Inspiring and informative keynotes
  • Technology demonstrations
  • Business Partner Showcase and a multitude of networking opportunities

Before you know it (well, in 24 hours, actually), the whole Rational community will be raving about your epic masterpiece. As "epic" as you can get, that is, in 1½-minutes or 30 MB -- whichever comes first.

And if that weren't enough, posting your "What Keeps Me Rational" video on RationalTube makes you instantly eligible to win big prizes and recognition at the Rational Software Development Conference 2007.
