Description

SpadeTool is a utility that is used in conjunction with the ClearQuest bkt_tool to extract and upload the queries, charts, reports, and report formats from a ClearQuest public folders directory. Unlike the bkt_tool, SpadeTool stores each of the extracted elements in a directory structure that matches the ClearQuest folder structure, and it also maintains the name that each query/chart/report/report format has in ClearQuest. The main benefit of such a tool is the ability to version control individual charts/queries/reports that are stored in a ClearQuest database. Moving them between databases will also be much easier. See the attached readme document.
