NOTE: This hook is presented only as an example of how to customize your use of IBM Rational ClearQuest. It has not been formally tested and is not supported by IBM.
Description
Here's a working application in Perl to query the IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® database from an external application. It is looking for a Submitted defect with a filled out assignment field. (Users are not permitted to make assignments but a button on the form allows them to assign it to themselves.) This hook is a precursor to one that will eventually move it from submitted->assigned.
Script Language: Perl
ClearQuest Version: 2001
Submitter: Don Weeks
