This is an indexed version of the ClearQuest hooks database, formerly available on the Rational Developer Network.
NOTE: These hooks are published as examples of how to customize your use of IBM® Rational® ClearQuest®. Many have been contributed by ClearQuest users. The hooks have not been formally tested, and they are not supported by IBM.
External -- External scripts or programs that use the ClearQuest API to perform actions on a database without using GUI.
Administration -- Scripts or external programs that can be used in the administration of ClearQuest. This includes several scripts for performing specialized activities around importing and exporting ClearQuest records.
ClearQuest MultiSite -- Scripts used in the maintenance of ClearQuest MultiSite installations.
Field dependencies -- Scripts that are used to manage dependencies between multiple fields in a ClearQuest record type. This includes dependent choice lists and constraints that may exist between different fields.
Extended fields -- Scripts that are used to extend the capabilities of a field in a ClearQuest schema. Examples include fields that are used to calculate time spent on a given task, fields that represent URL's, etc.
E-mail -- Scripts that are used to extend the email notification and reading capabilities of ClearQuest.
Auditing -- Scripts that are used to audit ClearQuest actions more completely.
Reporting -- Scripts that are used to automate ClearQuest
reports using Microsoft Word or other systems.
Constraints -- Scripts that are used to place constraints or validate particular ClearQuest fields. This includes scripts that perform access control as well.
Choicelists -- Scripts that are used to display particular non-default choicelists in ClearQuest.
Examples -- Scripts that represent simple examples of how to use the ClearQuest API.
Project management -- Scripts that add project management features to ClearQuest.
Integrations -- Scripts that customize particular integrations with other IBM/Rational products. This includes Unified Change Management (UCM) and Requirements Management.
Sample schemas -- Sample schema that can be used for particular tasks, usually a significant extension of the product.
