The ProjectConsole tutorial is included with the tool. The following two chapters are not included with the tool and can be accessed below.
Section 11 -- Collecting IBM® Rational® XDE™ Artifacts
A Rational XDE™ model contains different types of artifacts, including use cases, packages, classes, and diagrams. You can use ProjectConsole to collect information about these artifacts. You can create a collection task that counts of each of the artifact types and collects artifact attributes. Section 11 of the ProjectConsole Tutorial shows you how to set up and run a task to collect XDE nested elements information, which you will then use to create a trend chart that shows the number of classes in the XDE model over time.
Section 14 -- Creating a Report on XDE Artifacts
Section 14 of the ProjectConsole Tutorial shows you how to use Rational ProjectConsole Template Builder to display data from an XDE model. Complete the exercises described in this document to learn how to create and test a ProjectConsole Template Builder template for reporting on a sample XDE model.
