IBM offers convenient ways for you to purchase Rational Web-based Training (WBT) classes. Rational WBT offers basic training for many Rational products. WBT is a cost effective way to obtain training on Rational products. Training is available when needed, at your own pace, and without the need to travel.

Courses are sold on a per-user basis and are delivered through IBM Learner Portal as course collections, priced as a portfolio of courses. Once you purchase WBT courses, you have access to the course collection for a 1-year period. Rational WBT courses provide a training advantage for you and your teams, helping you get up to speed on Rational tools and best practices. Take the courses you need, at your convenience, at your own pace, and use the self-assessments to measure your progress.

How to buy IBM Rational Web-based Training

You have two (2) options to purchase Rational WBT.

1. Purchase from the IBM Training Finder
This option allows you to purchase WBT from the IBM course catalog. Access IBM Rational Web-based Training for more information or view and purchase a Rational Web-based Training collection now. You can purchase using a credit card, purchase order, invoice or Education Pack - online account.

2. Purchase through Passport Advantage
As of December 17, 2007, IBM Rational Web-based Training (WBT) is no longer sold as an entire portfolio of courses. Instead, on February 12, 2008 IBM Rational Web-based Training (WBT) will be sold as product collections and will be available for purchase through Passport Advantage Express and Passport Advantage Online. All WBT will be delivered through the IBM Learner Portal.

The IBM Learner Portal is an online, web-based, fully-managed, learning environment with content hosting services. The portal is specifically designed to bring self-paced courses and information "front and center" for the student. Now, customers can purchase and enroll in course collections priced as a portfolio of courses (1-year license). Customers have the opportunity to self-enroll in WBT course collections, and will have access for 1 year to materials and suggested readings, frequently asked questions (FAQs), threaded discussions (Forums) and expert contact information.
