IBM Rational IC Package: CSET.PL

This browser-based IC package provides a handy utility, CSET.PL, which allows users to easily undo, redo, print, and merge the change set of an activity in a UCM development environment.

Package Overview

CSET.PL is a script to manage various operations in IBM Rational® ClearCase® UCM. It is contained within this "IC package," a browser-based program that can be installed locally like a pre-packaged website and provides the script along with instructions for installation and use in a navigable interface.

To use this package, do the following:

1. Save the zip file, to your computer.
2. Extract the contents of this file to a local directory. (If using Winzip®, be sure to check the Use folder names option in the Extract dialog box.)
3. When you extract these files, a new folder, CSET_ICP is created under the installation directory you specified. Navigate to this folder, and click Start Here.html.
4. When a browser window opens, click Start IC package.

		David currently is a Worldwide Community of Practice Leader for Enterprise Change Management at IBM Rational. He works with customers and IBM teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Rational SCM solutions. David works with Rational field teams delivering workshops, seminars, and assessments to help improve software process and customer results. He also works on-site with customers around the world to define and manage successful deployment of Rational Software solutions. David has made several presentations at Rational User Conferences (RUC) and led the UCM Hands on Workshop sessions at RUC 2003 and 2004.
