Introduction
This plug-in was created to meet the demand for process support in complex systems development where compliance with the DoD Architecture Framework is necessary. The plug-in content is drawn from principles inherent in Model Driven Systems Development. Applicable views and products of the DoDAF have been mapped to work products, roles, processes, and guidance from the Rational Unifed Process for Systems Engineering, and extended as necessary. This plug-in provides a capability pattern and is appropriate for inclusion in other congigurations, or as a stand-alone set of guidance. Future versions will reflect improvements in systems engineering best practices as well as the evolution of the DoDAF, and supporting tools.
