Introduction

The aim of this document is to provide guidance to sales teams and customers in specifying an appropriate architectural topology for IBM® Rational® Team Concert, and when a specific topology is favored over another. Guidance is provided in two ways. First, the reader is lead through architectural considerations helpful in choosing an appropriate deployment topology. Second, guidance is given on selecting the appropriate size and configuration of servers based upon the anticipated number of users, projects, and usage models.
