13 May 2008 This example demonstrates a very basic IBM® Rational® Build Forge® project library that creates and deploys a Java™ applet. Common tools and applications are used throughout the steps of this project.
Purpose
This project is an example only. This sample is a common workflow and demonstrates various best practices within the Build Forge tool. Because it is impossible to provide examples that correspond to every environment, this example will not execute successfully without modification to match a specific environment.
Files
There are two files related to this sample project. The first is an xml file and contains the data about the project. This file needs to be imported in order to create the example project in the workspace. The second file is a PDF file containing more specific information about the project.
Importing the sample projects
To import the project, login to Build Forge and proceed to the Administrator + Import page. Select the sample project xml file and click Import. Your project and its dependencies will be created from this file. You can find more detailed information about importing objects from xml files in the Build Forge Help.
