This plug-in was created as an evolution to the RUP for Systems Engineering Plug-in V3.0, which is now built into the RMC released library.

System requirements

You must have IBM® Rational® Method Composer V7.2 installed to use this plug-in.

Purpose

This plug-in was created as an evolution to the RUP-SE v3.0 Plug-In which is now built into the RMC released library. This plug-in will replace the current RUP-SE plug-in shipping with the RMC tool. The MDSD Plug-in was developed with and for use with RMC v7.2. It is not compatible with any prior version to the RMC tool. The Plug-In now contains a MDSD Capability Pattern and is also now a full life-cycle delivery process. It is intended that this plug-in will evolve to support the needs of the Systems Development and Systems Engineering communities, both internal to and external to IBM. Feedback or change requests should be forwarded to the email address in the publishing instructions below.
