Adobe® Acrobat® Reader
IBM® Rational® Asset Manager enables organizations to identify, manage and govern the design, development and consumption of software assets, including services as part of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) initiative. Using Rational Asset Manager, you can increase application development productivity and enable developers to reuse software development-related assets.
This guide is designed to help specify an appropriate architecture for Rational Asset Manager. First, the reader is led through architectural considerations helpful in choosing an appropriate deployment topology. It covers topics such as scalability, availability, maintainability, security, and integrations with other products. Second, guidance is given on capacity planning and configuration, with a focus on selecting the appropriate size and configuration of servers based upon the anticipated number of users, communities, and assets.
