  I do as Tim suggests and I also keep a depot area of all released
patches just in case I need to go back to a certain patch level. I do
this because I've noticed that Rational doesn't allow downloads of
previous patches anymore, only current released patches.

  I also keep a "clean" version of clearcase online so that I can
quickly build a copy with specific patches.
