Rita,
I am going from memory here on the CLEARCASE_GROUPS variable, and I
could be a little mistaken, but I believe that this variable is used to
handle those cases where a user belongs to more than 32 groups -- it gives
ClearCase a way to search into more groups names in a domain area.
However, that is not the same thing as allowing the group to have
access to specific vobs. From what I see below it seems to me that the
test-grp group does not have permission to write to the vob in question and
that the only way to fix that is to run the protectvob command with the
add_group option so that you can define this group to be able to write to
the vob.
