[cciug] "Multiple versions of XXXX were accessed during build script"

I was wondering if there was a way to get a log of all audited file
accesses during a build to help debug a "multiple versions of XXXX were
accessed during build script" error during a clearmake. Something along
the lines of a list of "command (process), filename, access type" tuples
would be very useful. Please note that "ct catcr" doesn't help me here -
if the build fails, a VOB object is not created and there is not config
record. Even if there was a config record, that doesn't list a
step-by-step access record.

Thanks,

Berend

P.S.: I understand what this error is trying to tell me - it's just that
I am not sure exactly what constitutes a file access from ClearCase's
point of view. If I get a system call trace of the build with truss,
I do see a rogue "stat" call to the file in question before its new
version is created, but it is never "read" in any way until after it is
created.
