I am currently trying to decide what our interop solution is going to be
here and would like to find out some more info on the problems with Samba
and Win2k. I was unable to find much on the samba.org site.

We will be running solaris 8 on the vob server. We have a mix of NT4 and
Win2k client machines. Currently the PDC is a NT4.0 box.

Any info is appreciated.

Matt.

We are using 2.2.1a and its working fine for client access. Our token
Win 2k client is not running ClearCase though. We did make two attempts
to get rid of our NT 4.0 PDC and use Samba instead, but have not been
able to get the Win 2k client to join the domain. The NT and Win 98
clients work fine with Samba providing the login authentication. We are
using Solaris 8 servers.
