[cciug] recursive branching

Hi,
 I am working on NT, for making a branch I am keeping the mkbranch rule in
configspecs ,
if some one checkout a file it is creating a branch for them.
I tried to create a branch recursively using
Z:\FW_test\ism>cleartool find . -ver "brtype(main)" -exec "cleartool
mkbranch la
kshmi_test $CLEARCASE_PN"
cleartool: Error: Pathname not found: "$CLEARCASE_PN".
This message keep on coming..

Can any one tell me what is the wrong I am doing here.
