I just noticed that according to the Rational web sites, ClearCase 4.2
for Tier II platforms was released on Monday (23 July). I didn't see
anything here about it so I thought I'd mention it.
Unfortunately the download site appears to be broken for Red Hat; the
link on the page that says it points to the Red Hat release actually
points to the OSF release :-/. But, after you click on it you can edit
the URL to contain the right filename.
Also unfortunately, for some reason I can't download these things from
work any more: I always get an error trying to log in to the FTP server
:(
I had to log in to one of my remote accounts, download it to there, then
scp it from there to work. What a hassle.
But, I've got it now so we'll see if this version works better than
4.1+patches with my Linux 2.4.2-2 kernel!
