In Multisite you have concept of object mastership .
What ""The initial master of an object is the replica where the object is created." means is that
"Whenever an object is created in a replica, it is owned by that replica unless the ownership is explicitly changed to some other replica "
Let us say I have vobA in Replica Ra and Rb .
If I create a branch type Br in Ra , then the mastership of Br is with Ra , unless I explicitly use chmaster to change it to be mastered at Rb .
