[cciug] How can you allow 2 groups to checkout a file?

Hi All,

I have a vob that is shared between two groups that is used for creating
product specification documents. Both of these groups have different
"primary groups" on NT. How can I get both groups to add,checkout, and add
files to this vob. I figured adding the second group as a secondary group
would help, but that didn't help. The rules for allowing a checkout are
only the owner and group can do a checkout. Obviously, a group listed in
the secondary group is not considered to be part of the primary group. I do
not want to create a single common group as the secondary group should not
have access to other vobs.

Is there a pre-op trigger solution for a checkout/checkin solution?

I am using Clearcase LT , server running on Solaris with the clients
accessing from Win2K.
