I just installed patch 18 for 4.1 on our Windows 200 server. After doing so
I noticed a significant performance improvement on the machine (dual 400MH,
1MB ram). The impact was even apparent on other applications. It is a
minor web server and the response time improved from about 5 seconds to 1 or
2. It also improved some operations on our clients (all Win2K). We had a
memory leak while performing a Rebase operation, that has gone away.
If you have problems with 4.1 on Win2K you may want to look into installing
the patch.
