I suppose if your views and VOBs located on UNIX server(s) - the problem is
NFS Maestro Solo. Actually I had such problem on Word and Excel files. Use
SAMBA - it is great.
Also it cound be problems with networks. Have you asked your system
administarators about pressure on LAN?
What about UNIX servers CPU and Memory usage?
Is the bug repeatable on other machines?
