Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out a process for this scenario.
Ours developers expect to get a new CD every few month that has code
which will be put into clearcase. This code links in with our code ,
but they expect to make changes to some of the code on the CD. When we
get a new CD they me to unload it in a NEW directory and to then overlay
any changes they made previously to any old cd.
When they compile this code the make files look in a certain directory.
I was going to make a link so when I get a new CD the makefile don't
need to change. Since I'm always putting new code in the vob and making
elements in a new directory ... don't see how I can merge.
Off top of my head this is what I need to do. But I was hoping for a
better way ...
1) do a find of all files created by all users other than the one I
initial put the code in for
2) make a script that figures out a way to ci those files into the new
directory structure ... easy
Any other ideas?
Joe
