Hello.
Has any one successfully import a large CVS repository (2000 files) into
ClearCase.
I did clearimport with cvt_data from clearexport_cvs. The CVS repository
has about 2000 files and with about 30 version tags. Here is a list of what
I observed in the vob where I did the import:
1. Some CVS directories are still there.
2. Lot -- not all -- elements (directories, files) are checkout.
3. cleartool commands (ct lock lbtype) in that vob caused errors:
07/17/01 09:09:51 PM view_server(3291): Error:
vob_ob_get_gen_num_V2: RPC: Timed
out 07/17/01 09:09:51 PM view_server(3291): Error: Unexpected error
in VOB xxxx.
4. Using the view created by other users that belong to the same group can
not view the vob. (permissions were set to 755).
