Hi Archana,

I feel like you should have deleted the parent directory of the element. So
it got orphaned and got ,moved to lost+found directory. So if rmver is
accidently performed on a DIRECTORY version , the version and it's contents
will be moved to the
lost+found directory. So, the data for this particular directory version is
retained.

1) cd to the lost+found directory in the VOB.

To restore this data back to the original location, you must first use
"cleartool mv" to rename the extended directory filename to the original
name.

For example: cleartool mv testdir.1afadd4a11d7ddd <location of testdir>
You will get.. Moved " testdir.1afadd4a11d7ddd" to "testdir" Onto its exact
place.

You must then ensure that the destination directory is checked out.

2) Use "cleartool mv" again to move the directory filename to it's original
destination.

3) Check the directory back in.

All of the data that was originally created in the directory version should
be
restored back to it's original location.

If in case you have done a ct rmelem then you got to goto backup.

Hope this helps.
Santosh
