I've had the same issue myself in the past so I finally decided to write a
Perl script to do my query's. The script is called query_vob.pl You
need to set into a view to run it. The script will do a query recursively
from the directory you run the script from. The ouput is written to a
file. Hopefully it'll help a few of you out there.
