Pamela,
As long as you have authority to perform the mktrtype it does not
really matter where you do it. THe most important thing to remember is
that if the trigger needs to be defined for BOTH platforms that you
remember to use the correct pathing, slash, UNC, SHARE syntax for the
particular platform.
I usually create all of my triggers from the vob server using a
script that sets up all trigger definitions.
