Try doubletake. It is a realtime backup solution and it works great. go to

Subject: [cciug] Newcomers questions

Hi,

We have recently started using ClearCase / ClearQuest / UCM and although
this is going fairly well I have a few questions:

ClearCase Server is currently Windows 2000 server, and coming from a Unix
background I'm probably not as familiar with this as
other NT admin.

Anyone have any thoughts on backup solutions? Some of our servers are
currently backed up using ArcServe although I'm also
investigating Veritas Netbackup and am open to any other ideas.

We will also probably be migrating the server to a Unix backend to help with
some of out current interop issues. Although
RedHat 6.2 is the supported platform has anyone had any luck installing on
different distributions? There is a mix here including
Debian, RedHat, Stormix and Mandrake. I could specify the server OS but I
don't really want to force developers to change OS just
to run the client.

Thanks in Advance

Phil
