Re: [cciug] Avoiding using Local NT Shares

John and Paul,

I have yet to try "client" installations on NTs, but according to the
manuals, a user's NT (or Win2K) ClearCase client can host both dynamic and
snapshot views. Where, by "host", its meant that the view's view_server
process executes on the user's ClearCase client machine. The VOBs' storage
must be "shared" *to* the clients, but I wouldn't expect that any of the
client's storage (dynamic or snapshot view storage) would need to be shared
*from* the client machine.
