Has anyone installed the client version of ClearQuest on Solaris? Can you
configure it to talk to Microsoft SQL on NT? We are a Linux development
shop and have a few developers that would like to run the CQ client software
vs the web interface to do some customized queries and reports. I
understand you can query from the command line in Solaris and that is part
of what they would like to do. In reading documentation it looks to me that
the Solaris client will only talk to an Oracle DB but I thought I saw a
comment or two go by in this mailing list that it might be possible to
configure it for other DBs. If so can I get information on it? I have not
been to any CQ classes yet nor have I used Oracle so I am starting from
scratch here so any info would be great. Thanks.
