Thank you for the response.
The problem is that the clearcase_albd account in domain (A) seems to have
tagged all the vobs that have been accessed with that account. This
account is not in the same domain as the user accounts. The user accounts
are located in domain (B). With this account we are able to create and use
NT views, however with the new _clearcase_albd account in domain (B) we can
not create NT views.
The _clearcase_albd is setup in the clearcase group and maps through TAS as
vobadm, however we must be missing something.
I moved a vob that we could not create views from ClearCase 3.2.1 to 4.0.
On ClearCase 4.0 we are able to create a new NT view using the domain (B)
_clearcase_albd account. This is what makes me believe there is a tag on
the vobs for the old clearcase_albd account.
All the users login to domain (B) and domain (A) is a trusted domain.
The computer is in domain (A), however the next quirk is; domain (A) is
going away and the new domain (C) will be the domain for the computer.
Thank you
