OK, the one thing that I am sure of is this:
Once the VOB is mounted, there is no difference between private and public VOBs.
All access to these VOBs are controlled by the ownership and group associations
given to the VOB (Implicitly when created or explicitly later). The "private"
attribute of a VOB does not in any way affect others from accessing it if it has
been mounted (by whatever method).
