You need to do it from the command line, if you want to do it without
removing the view. Given the awkwardness of the NT command line, I
would be inclined simply to remove and re-create the view.
However, if you have the MKS utilities, you could do it this way:
cleartool lsprivate -other | xargs rm
If you don't have the MKS utilities it's sort of a pain. Run
cleartool lsprivate -other > xx.bat
Then edit xx.bat, putting an erase statement ahead of each file name.
Then run xx.bat.
If there are any directories that are view-private this procedure
won't take care of them.'

| Hi all,
| I would like to delete all my view private files from my view. The options I
| am aware of are:
| 1. Delete the view.
| 2. Use windows explorer and find all the files and directories and delete
| them manually.
|
| Is there a better way to delete these view private files?
| Thanks for your help.
