Mathew,

What domain does your NT workstation join ?
What domain does your user logon ?

The problem seems to me that user (NT workstation) did not
pick up the right clearcase_albd account
from the domain that user logon.

Subject: [cciug] 2 clearcase_albd accounts

Hello,
ClearCase 3.2.1

We have three domains in our ClearCase environment. In the first
domain, we have a clearcase_albd account belonging to the clearcase
group. In the second domain, we have all our user account and a
_clearcase_albd account belonging to the clearcase group. The first
domain is a trusted domain of the second.

UNIX vobs
NT/UNIX views
TAS is our interop

In the beginning we used the clearcase_albd account in the first domain,
however since this domain is going away we started using the
_clearcase_albd account in the second domain. The problem is with NT
views. Since we started using the new account _clearcase_albd in the
second domain, the users can not create NT snapshot views. We can not
go back to the original clearcase_albd account as the domain will not be
visible for much longer. My question is how do you reformat the vobs so
that the first clearcase_albd and the second _clearcase_albd account
both work? Do we create a third clearcase_albd in the third domain or
continue to use only the _clearcase_albd.
