Be very carefull not to make a too deep deirectory
structure in your vob. If your structure is too deep
ClearCase will not read it at all. I did some
experimentation and the limit is around 245 chars deep.
The problem is that the windows explorer supports
1024(i think) deep structure as well as the dos
supports 1024, but the function that passes between the
explorer and dos only supports around 256.
So why does it need to pass it? Well because it needs
to call cleartool from the CLI to use cleartool
commands.

Hi
I have created a vob on NT and we are using
Snapshot views on 95 we are
find difficulty to ADD directories to Source i.e., we
have huge directories
structure which are recursive dirs. and we need to add
all these directoris
into vob. When we drag and drop the directories into
the view area and say
add to source only the main root dir is added and all
the sub dirs are not
added.
Help on this is needed.
