Yes you can have a symbolic-link under a VOB to another VOB and we use
it all the time...
For example..
We have vobs like, prd, prd_src, prd_test, etc and under prd we have a
symbolic for the src dir under prd_src and test under prd_test and other
such related vobs. This helps us to maintain one entry point for a
particular product.
One thing you should remember is in controlling versions in config
spec..
You can't do the following..
element /prd/src/abc/cde.c blah..blah..
instead you have to say..
element /prd_src/src/abc/cde.c ...blah..blah..
