Hello,

I need to gather some information about the use of RAID with ClearCase. I
have recently encountered a problem with a VOB on a Solaris 2.6 system which
is running software RAID 0+1 and am wondering if others have had any
problems.

If you are using RAID with ClearCase I would appreciate responses to the
questions below.

1) What version of ClearCase?

2) VOB Server OS (e.g. HP 10.20, Solaris 2.6, NT 4.0)?

3) RAID configuration (RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 5)?

4) Hardware RAID?

5) Software RAID?

6) Have you encountered any problems with ClearCase which you believe may be
induced by RAID?

I will tally the responses and provide a summary.
