Re: [cciug] Has anyone done the 4.1 upgrade yet?

I hope that you will continue to explore the ClearCase Explorer :-) It
actually uses the exact same context menus as did ClearDetails, which are
modifiable with the Context Menu Editor. However, ClearCase Explorer
actually has much more built-in functionality on the context menus than
does Details. We also hope that the improved performance will be a factor.

Yes, you can hide the documentation window by going to the View menu and
unchecking the "Information Pane" item.

Start view will only be enabled if the view which you have selected is
dynamic and it is stopped. The menu item pertains to the currently-selected
view. When you select a view by clicking on the shortcut it starts it
automatically.

And finally, view shortcuts are added to the user's environment for views
that that user has created. If that is the case with the view in question,
have you looked at all of the "pages" of shortcuts? The tool will create
shortcuts and add them to UCM project-specific pages, and those not in UCM
are added to the "General" page. You can also add shortcuts to any view by
right clicking in that pane and choosing "Add View Shortcut". You can do the
same for tools, like Mount/Unmount...
