RE: [cciug] DHCP and ClearCase

If I got it right, the main reason for us to not use dhcp with clearcase is
that our NFS-servers (Solaris) needs the machines IP to be registered to let
them access them.

Our clearcase servers also runs on the solaris machines, so we need NFS to
access them.

I don't know if clearcase internally needs static IP's.

Subject: [cciug] DHCP and ClearCase

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any specific issues with ClearCase and
DHCP ?
We are running ClearCase 4.0 from a Unix box, but to Windows and Unix
clients and would appreciate any info that people could give me.

Thanks
