Nope, it's fine... as long as that's the only change to the directory.

A merge will merge _ALL_ the changes between the directories, not just
add that one file.

So, merging is a good solution in specific cases, but it's not general
enough to be suggested from a generic "evil-twin catching" trigger.

IMO.
