Tushar,

You can multisite your current vob to create new replica.
or you can lock the vob, tar it, untar at different location,
register the new location and create a new vob tag for the new vob.
Hope its help.

Subject: [cciug] Clearcase import/export question

Hi,

I need to create a new VOB which should be the exact replica of the existing
VOB except that name will be different. I tried using the clearexport_ccase
and clearimport utilities but it didn't seem to maintain the file and
directory permissions and the ownership of the files. Does anyone know if
there is a way to either "rename" a VOB or creating a new VOB with different
name which will have all the same contents including history information and
the file permissions and ownership ?

Thanks,
Tushar
