Assume the need to create a new directory. Also assume multiple branches from /main. At first, the new directory is needed only on one branch. This new directory will eventually be needed by more, if not all, branches.
The question: It it okay if the new directory is created on /main rather than the branch on which it's initially needed (and later merged branch to branch)?
