That's the thing... /tmp has _plenty_ of space.
blueduck bmetcalf $ df -k /tmp

Or, maybe it doesn't. This error only occurs every so
often during our nightly builds. And when I try to
reproduce it, no luck. Guess I could increase swap a
bit and see what happens.
