What are the files that ClearCase 3.2.1 really need to back up? I know the how to do the lock-backup-unlock dance on VOB. What I want to know is what are the files that are needed to restore the application itself. Today, someone mess up the ClearCase software and the MVFS is not showing anymore with cleartool -ver. I thought I can restore the files from /usr/atria/*, /var/adm/atria/rgy/*, /var/adm/atria/config/*, /var/adm/atria/*.db, /usr/adm/atria/host.dat, and /usr/atria/etc/atria_start.
Can anyone tell me what files are needed backing up in case the release_area and Rational got nuked!
