Once a view server is upgraded to 4.0, it can no longer see 3.x VOBs.
So, if you don't do _all_ your VOB servers before you start the view
servers, make _sure_ that people using the upgraded view servers
absolutely will not need any of the un-upgraded VOBs.
You will even see lots of (non-fatal) errors during rmview, etc. if the
older VOBs are mounted on the upgraded view servers.
Another thing we just discovered: a 4.0 system cannot setview or
startview a view hosted on a 3.x view server... and also a 4.0 view
server cannot winkin unpromoted DOs from a 3.x view, even though the VOB
is 4.0! That's a real drag: it puts a serious crimp in any kind of
localized live testing :-/. So, if you do much view sharing/winkin
you'll pretty much need to upgrade all the view servers at the same
time.
